Our Team
Passionate professionals, researchers, educators, and volunteers united by a single mission: ending preventable musculoskeletal pain through education.
The People Behind ErgoLife
ErgoLife Foundation is powered by a small but dedicated team of professionals who share an unwavering commitment to musculoskeletal health. Our staff and contributors bring together decades of combined experience in ergonomics, physical therapy, public health education, and nonprofit management. Every workshop we deliver, every resource we publish, and every community we reach reflects the collective expertise and heart of the people you will meet below. Though our team is lean, our impact is amplified by the volunteers and advisors who generously lend their time and knowledge to our cause.
Leadership
Our leadership team guides ErgoLife Foundation’s strategic direction, ensuring every program stays rooted in evidence-based practice and genuine community need.
Executive Director
Our Executive Director oversees the foundation’s daily operations, fundraising strategy, and organizational growth. With a background in nonprofit management and a deep passion for ergonomic wellness advocacy, this role ensures ErgoLife’s mission translates into measurable community impact. The Executive Director also represents the foundation in policy discussions and cross-sector partnerships.
Director of Education
The Director of Education designs and refines ErgoLife’s curriculum, leads in-person and virtual workshops, and trains volunteer facilitators. Drawing on a background in physical therapy and kinesiology, this role ensures every lesson plan is both scientifically sound and accessible to diverse audiences, from office workers to warehouse teams.
Director of Outreach
Responsible for community programs, strategic partnerships, and public events, the Director of Outreach connects ErgoLife with the populations that need us most. This role coordinates employer partnerships, school wellness days, and awareness campaigns that bring ergonomic education directly into workplaces and neighborhoods.
Research Advisor
Our Research Advisor reviews all published content, workshop materials, and program evaluations for scientific accuracy. With an extensive background in biomechanics and ergonomics research, this role ensures ErgoLife’s guidance reflects the latest peer-reviewed evidence and industry best practices.
Our Volunteers
Behind every ErgoLife workshop and community event stands a dedicated network of volunteers. Our volunteer corps includes licensed health professionals who review educational materials, university students studying kinesiology and occupational health, and passionate educators who facilitate sessions in underserved communities. Together, they donate hundreds of hours each year to content review, event logistics, and one-on-one ergonomic assessments-extending our reach far beyond what a small staff could accomplish alone.
Advisory Board
ErgoLife Foundation benefits from the guidance of an advisory board composed of leaders in healthcare, education, and workplace wellness. These advisors provide strategic counsel on program development, help us navigate the evolving landscape of occupational health policy, and open doors to new funding and collaboration opportunities. Their diverse expertise ensures our work remains relevant, rigorous, and far-reaching.
